We have recently completed the home automation revamp of a project in the lakeside city of Crosslake, MN, that serves as a blueprint of what is possible when it comes to enhancing your home and property to add a modern feel.
As part of our deep dive series, we take a closer look into the individual systems in the Crosslake Home project. More specifically, we'll take a look at how we achieved immersive entertainment spaces both indoors and outdoors of the property. Fully Integrated Speaker Systems
A fully integrated speaker system produces high-performance sound without negatively affecting the aesthetics of your room. These speakers can be installed in the ceilings or on the walls, and while good quality speaker systems take up a lot of space, these speakers are the masters of camouflage, and even if they are visible, they blend seamlessly into your home décor.
For this project, we included Paradigm speakers for the whole home audio setup. Their in-ceiling architectural models allowed for a clutter-free approach without sacrificing on audio quality. We paired the sound system with a Savant home automation system, so it’d be easy for our clients to use when hosting friends and family.
Ambisonic Outdoor Speakers
With the beautiful lake views, it was also important to give our clients a way to further enjoy their outdoor spaces. We added Ambisonic outdoor speakers that engulfed the patio and backyard in beautiful sound, while maintaining their beautiful spaces intact. Their landscape ribbon speakers disappear into their surroundings while boasting planar magnetic drivers for crisp, powerful sound while keeping a compact design.
When it comes to outdoor speakers, you need a system with dynamic range to ensure there is sufficient coverage when you want to experience a superior audio quality away from the confines of your home. We connected these speakers to the whole home audio system, providing the family access to all their favorite music sources from an easy-to-use app.
The Crosslake Home project allowed us to expand our horizons to achieve greater possibilities by working with our builder partner, Land's End Development, to develop a stylish home design that is technologically advanced. We could not have completed this project without their partnership, skills, and expertise.
