Art Novian Acoustic Panels Provide High-Quality Audio Without Compromising Style
In our third installment of the Sumiko project series, we will dive into how we provided our friends at Sumiko with crystal-clear audio to match the media room’s high-quality image provided by the Sony 380 projector. In addition, Art Novian acoustic panels improved the sound quality, and their stylish panels added to the room's overall aesthetic. High-quality sound is just as important as the visual since the audio communicates a company’s story and value.
Sumiko wanted a media room with top-of-the-line audio and visual equipment to display how their products could benefit potential customers. Keep reading to see how we achieved that.

Crystal-Clear Audio
We installed Art Novian panels and design pieces into Sumiko’s media room. They help absorb the soundwaves emitted from Sumiko’s demo equipment.. Sumiko wants potential customers to focus on the important solutions they provide, not on unnecessary echoes and reverb. Art Novian creates panels that effectively absorb soundwaves to create a better listening experience and are stylish to add to any room’s aesthetic.
To keep the sound in the media room contained and not let external sound in, we sealed doors with bottom and side blockers. As a result, no sound escapes the media room, so those hard at work outside aren’t disturbed. It will also ensure sound outside the media room does not leak in and disrupt the demo experience.
Complete Control
We implemented a Savant control system for Sumiko’s media room. The Savant system controls all the media room’s technology for easy use. All they have to do is use the touch screen device in the space to select what demo they would like to play, and everything will adjust appropriately.
The Savant control system gives Sumiko the ability to focus on building relationships with potential customers and not spend their time messing with their tech. We installed Savant to do the work for Sumiko, so they can spend more time on what’s important.
Sumiko is a distributor of high-end audio products, so they needed an audio-visual experience that shows their quality. Our team at Residential Technology was honored that Sumiko chose us to help them build a high-quality media room to communicate its value to customers better.
