Entertainment Options for the Whole Family
Entertainment was a huge part of designing our client’s dream home. The family has two teenage daughters and a large extended family, and they frequently entertain in the Crosslake Home. Our team’s goal was to install dynamic entertainment systems that were fun for all ages. We achieved this goal by building out a multipurpose space with a home theater, golf simulator, pool table, and other activities for the family and their guests to enjoy.
Home Theater
The home theater is a cozy and relaxing area for watching movies, TV shows, sporting events, and more. It’s an especially great hangout spot when the household’s teenage daughters have friends over and want to relax with a film or new Netflix series.
We went all out to design an amazing home theater installation with best-in-class technology for a stellar cinematic experience. First, we paired a Sony projector with a Stewart fixed frame projection screen to deliver content with vivid, detailed clarity. Next, we installed surround sound with Paradigm speakers and JL audio subwoofers for dynamic, immersive audio. Finally, we brought in DMF lighting fixtures to add comfort and ambiance to the theater setup.
The DMF lighting is one of our favorite aspects of the home theater. The fixtures are color-changing and easily controllable with a tablet or smartphone app. With the press of a button, the family can change the lighting to any shade of the rainbow and add a fun ambiance to movie and sports-watching events.
Golf Simulator
The golf simulator brings more active entertainment into the family’s home. We installed a simulator system from Full Swing, which uses industry-leading technology to optimize performance. Full Swing simulators use an overhead camera and infrared technology to deliver the fastest and most accurate ball flight and tracking for an experience that feels incredibly realistic. And with 90+ virtual golf courses to choose from, our clients and their guests never run the risk of getting bored.
